Clearing Caches in a SiteGround Hosted Site

Part of a collection on cache clearing

Make sure you are on the Site Tools page for your site, and not just the Site Ground admin area for your account.

Below:

Accessing the Site Tools cache area

The caching management is under the Speed navigation item

This should navigate you to the caching controls, and allow you to select the specific cache mechanism you’d like to manage:

Cycling SiteGround Nginx Direct Delivery

From the cache area, select the Nginx Direct Delivery tab

If the toggle is blue, then this “cache” is on, but because of the way it works, there is no mechanism for flushing it. Instead, to make sure everything is working properly, you can cycle it off, and then (after waiting a few seconds) back on.

Flushing SiteGround Dynamic Cache

From the cache area, select the Dynamic Cache tab

This cache cannot be turned off

Click the Flush Cache button in the bottom right

Flushing SiteGround Memcached

From the cache area, select the Memcached tab

If this cache is turned on, you’ll be able to flush it by clicking the Flush Cache button
